What is Hyperwallet?
Hyperwallet, a PayPal Service is replacing cheques as the payout method when selling your old club to Golfbidder. Using Hyperwallet will give you access to your funds quicker (the same day in some cases) and allow for direct transfer into your bank account. The rest of the trade-in process is unchanged, just instead of a cheque in the post, you’ll receive a payout link from Hyperwallet, usually the same day.
Who is Hyperwallet?
Hyperwallet is a member of the PayPal group of companies and provides services globally through its affiliates. Their goal is to provide us with a fast, efficient, and transparent way to distribute funds to our customers across Europe. As a proud member of the PayPal family, their technology makes it easy to deliver multiple payout options in multiple currencies.
How does the process work?
- Sell your clubs: The Golfbidder trade-in process remains unchanged, meaning as soon as your clubs have passed inspection, the payout process will begin.
- Receive your payout: Once your clubs have passed inspection our accounts team will approve your payout and communicate this to Hyperwallet. This will trigger an email from Hyperwallet informing you there is a payout from Golfbidder waiting for you. Please note: If this is the first time you are using Hyperwallet you will get an additional email with your login credentials.
- Transfer your funds: If this is the first time you’re using Hyperwallet you’ll need to activate your account using the link in the email. Once you have activated your account you’ll be able to withdraw your funds to a nominated back account.
What to do next?
If you have sent the golf clubs you’re selling to Golfbidder then look out for an email that tells you your clubs have been inspected and that payout is on the way. Once this has happened you’ll receive another email, this time from Hyperwallet, saying there are funds available to you. Simply follow the steps to access your payout.

Moving on from cheques was something that everyone at Golfbidder wanted to do. However, when selecting a new payout provider, security for our customer was a top priority. Hyperwallet strives to ensure that the portal is secure and safe and requires a 2-part verification process in order to verify the identity of a payee at login and avoid malicious activity. As an organisation, they’re committed to privacy and security and take the highest precautions to ensure all transactions are secure. Hyperwallet also takes great steps to ensure the security and privacy of payee information. The security questions payees create when they activate their account on the Pay Portal helps to ensure that we are speaking to the verified account holder, and is a crucial step to avoiding fraud. Hyperwallet’s payee support team is only authorised to speak to the verified account holder.
